The Atlantic City Sports Commission, in partnership with the Atlantic City Marathon Race Series’ April Fools Half Marathon, attracts athletes from throughout the Eastern Seaboard to race in various distance runs throughout the weekend. On Saturday, April 2, the 11K and 7K events will begin at 9 a.m. The Kids Fit Final, sponsored by the Atlantic County Council of Education Associations (ACCEA) starts at 11 a.m. the same day. The main event, the AmeriHealth NJ April Fools Half Marathon will kick off on Sunday, April 3 at 8 a.m. All race start and finish lines will be on the Boardwalk at North Carolina Avenue in front of Resorts.

“Our USATF Certified course is both flat and fast where runners spend several miles running the wood planks of Atlantic City’s world famous Boardwalk before heading through quaint beach towns that feature ocean views the entire way. Live course music, a huge finish line party at Margaritaville and Landshark Bar & Grill and custom shirts and finisher medals make this the best half marathon of the Spring,” said Steve Brog, Atlantic City Marathon Race Series Committee Chair.
